Roles and Responsibilities
- Indirect Tax - GST, Customs and other international taxation laws.
- Keeping the organization aware of the implications of various tax laws on business decisions.
- Dealing with tax authorities (GST, Customs etc).
- Working with external resources for advice and resolutions.
- Tax compliance - computations, deposit and periodical returns.
- Annual GST Audit, Department Audit.
- Customs Act related compliance. Getting final assessments of BEs.
- Managing AEO status.
- Compliance of various import licenses.
- Compliance of various valuation rules.
- Responsible for handling various notices, audits, assessments & Litigation matters.
- Responsible for Indirect tax compliance.
- Responsible for handling various notices, audits, assessments & Litigation matters
